About Inlandia: A Literary Journey

__________________________________

Founded in 2010, Inlandia: A Literary Journey seeks to spotlight the region’s rich literary heritage. What you will find at Inlandia: A Literary Journey are regionally-focused poems, stories, essays, memoir, novel excerpts, book reviews, interviews, and a rotating feature of work produced by participants from the Inlandia Creative Writing Workshops series.

Inlandia: A Literary Journey is edited by Cati Porter (Managing Editor), Lavina Blossom (Associate Poetry Editors), Gayle Brandeis (Associate Fiction Editors) and Jo Scott-Coe (Associate Editor, Nonfiction). To view editor bios click here.

Please check back quarterly for new issues (January, April, July, & October). View our submission guidelines here, and be sure to check out our workshops page for an Inlandia Writers Workshop near you.

Congratulations to Gayle Brandeis, Inlandia’s latest Literary Laureate! Read about her journey and get updates about Literary Laureate events by visiting the brand-new Literary Laureates’ Lounge blog. The first installment is an adaptation of Gayle’s acceptance speech. And a huge THANK YOU to Susan Straight who recently completed her two-year term. Travel into Inlandia as Inlandia’s first Literary Laureate Susan Straight acquaints readers with some of her favorite places in the I.E. through her weekly essay series Notes of a Native Daughter, and second Literary Laureate Gayle Brandeis’ essay series for the Artbound column, both made possible by KCET.
